This is the base of what was to have been a cooling tower at the never finished Phipps Bend Nuclear Power Plant on Holston River near Surgoinsville, Tn.

"Hawkins County Silos"

Found these two silos along Holston River, near Laurel Run Park in Hawkins County, Tn.

"Don't Lean on Me"

Gonna keep a close eye on this old barn in the coming year. The smaller one on the left don't look like it will be standing much longer. On a farm off Emmet Rd. in Sullivan County, Tn., near South Holston Dam.

"Sensabaugh Tunnel"

Sensabaugh Tunnel on Sensabaugh Hollow Rd. in Hawkins County, Tn. The road thru here shares its bed with a creek. Said to be haunted but we'll not go into that here. Just outside Kingsport, Tn.

"Rotherwood Mansion"

This is officially my first photo of 2016. Rotherwood Mansion off Netherland Rd. in Kingsport, Tn. Said to be haunted, this mansion was built in 1818 by the Reverend Frederick A. Ross and is home to the ghostly "Lady in White", his daughter Rowena, who was drowned in the nearby Holston River while looking for her lover who was thrown into the river and swept away. It is said she can still be seen walking along the riverbank with a lantern in a long white dress, looking for him.
