This bear came up out of the creek and made himself welcome to a young couple's picnic dinner today at Mynatt Park in Gatlinburg, Tn.

 Spotted this doe on a Sunday drive to Breaks Interstate Park in Southwest Virginia. The park is part in Virginia and part in Kentucky.

The oldest stone dam in Tennessee at the Amis Mill Historic Site in Rogersville, Tn. The dam was constructed by Thomas Amis in 1780.

 I made a new friend today. A donkey at David Crockett Birthplace State Park on the Nolichuckey River in Greene County, Tn.

Here is the "Loch Bass Monster" spotted at Bass Lake in Moses H. Cone Memorial Park near Blowing Rock, N.C.

"Hoot Owl"

Found this little Barred "Hoot" Owl in an aviary enclosure at Panther Creek State Park near Jefferson City, Tn. this weekend. He was found lying on the side of I-40 near Crossville, Tn. and after rehabilitation it was determined to not release him back into the wild. He is blind in one or both eyes, plaque didn't specifically say. He is being used for educational purposes and looks well taken care of.

"Cherokee Dam"

Cherokee Dam near Jefferson City, Tn. Been to Cherokee Lake numerous times but this is my first time seeing the dam. Very nice all around, thank you TVA!
