Duncansville School, built in 1889 was originally located in the Brumley Gap area of Washington County, Va. It remained in use until 1954. After sitting idle for many years it was moved to it's current location on Stanley St. in Abingdon, Va. in the year 2000. It has been preserved as a one room school museum.
