"Dave Miller Homestead @ Roan Mountain State Park"
Flight of the Hummingbird!
Barn at the Dave Miller Homestead at Roan Mountain State Park in Carter County, Tn.
Both pictures here are straight from the camera except for adding my logo. This is my second attempt at photographing hummingbirds. My first attempt was on this same occasion, at this same place, one year ago. Shot against a completely blowed out white sky (it was raining). I'm gonna whip this hummingbird challenge someday.
The barn was just a quick shot on the way out as the park was closing up this section and the rain had let up. A really nice lady works here at this homestead and we hung out and talked with her for quite a while both this year and last.
