Looking at Holston Mountain from the student parking lot at Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Va. From where I stand to the crest of the ridge is approximately 15 miles, straight ahead! The top of the snow covered ridge is roughly the boundary line between Sullivan County and Johnson County, Tennessee.

"Survivor"

Still standing after beating the elements. The tornadoes of April, 2011 removed a portion of the top of this silo but was no match for this long standing fixture on Lee Hwy. (US Hwy. 11) in Washington County, Va.
